I'm using the latest edition of NWC2. My comp operating system is Windows XP. How do I change instruments on playback. What are the channels on the MIDI playback (Microsoft MIDI mapper)? And, what are the MIDI patch instructions? Lastly, how do I get additional instruments added to my list of pre-definde instruments?

Instrument changes are done via Insert, Instrument Change. You can manually set all of the instrument options from here.
You can also create your own instrument definitions. Look at the "itrees" folder inside the NWC2 program files folder, which contains examples.
