Title: Rendering MIDI to WAV with Audio Compositor
Post by: Dennis Kraemer on 2005-02-02 02:03 AM
I been experimenting converting MIDI files to WAV files using the evaluation version of Audio Compositor based on advice from the forum.  The MIDIs I am converting are saved .nwc files with piano staffs and the files are rendered successfully, but the playback sounds like a synthesizer.  Is this because the evaluation package is limited this instrument?  I want to purchase the complete version but but want to make sure the complete version of the software will render .cda files that will playback the piano.  Guidance from Audio Compositor users would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dennis

This was answered by others on the regular forum, since it is not specific to version 2 of NWC. In short, AC appears to be out-of-date, and alternatives are suggested.
