I know you can import noteworthy to finale through a midi file but this suxxxx,,, Is there any other way please???????????
Really, that is a question you should ask in a Finale-forum. The answer is a resounding no, though.
Doesn't Finale have some sort of optical character recognition system? If so perhaps you could print the NWC part and then scan it into Finale?
On the other hand, I doubt if there's really a need to transfer the file to Finale now that NWC2 is available. I find NWC is far easier to use and is very flexible, compared to the steep, steep, steep learning curve of Finale. There's very little that I can't do in NWC.
Thanks for the speedie replies guys,,, I only ever use NWC
as I`m in the A cappella community, but unfortunately,
I have been asked to submit arrangements in that format. (Finale) I just loaded NWC 2 today (its great) I have tried the recognition software on Finale but it won`t read the .tif files I`ve created, I`ll keep trying however, Thanks again...
try Sharpeye it'll read your tiffs
I believe Sharpeye (although I've only used it briefly) requires monochrome .tif files - it can't read colour or even greyscale. Perhaps Finale is the same.
