I know this was discussed a few years ago, however I feel the need to bring it up again, is there any works in progress to add shaped notes support for noteworthy?
I see that Finale has this support , however I'm not willing to spend the bucks necessary to purchase that program, when I have noteworthy.
NWC2 has the option of no noteheads. You can then add the different shapes (as [abbr=tedious, I know...]text items[/abbr]) as necessary.
NWC2 also has diamond shaped and x shaped noteheads.
Tim Buktu, that's not your name.
If it is, I'll buy a hat and eat it. Well chosen, though ;-)
It is so my name (actually, it's Timala Faraye Buktu, but in the U.S., I've heard the name "Tim," so that's the name I use now that I moved here.).
Some of my people wear very big hats - I hope you have a big appetite.
I am a fervent reader of Donald Duck. Now, at least half of the times when he screws up, and he needs to escape to a faraway place, he ends up in Timbuktu.
I'll find a chocolate hat, and have fun.
See https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=4747 for NWC version 2 only.
My mistake concerning "Timbuktu" has made it to the Donald Duck website in Holland.
See http://www.donaldduckweekblad.nl/brievenbus/postvoordonald/
; it's in the green rectangle.
The Donald Duck website will only show the letter THIS week, so until Friday, 11 Feb, noon (Amsterdam-Paris time)
Apparently, Donald is more popular in Holland than in the U.S.A. !
It is, and has been for more than 50 years. Donald Duck has had a weekly magazine, all these years, whereas Mickey Mouse is more in the background.
I read the weekly weekly, and have sent in a couple of letters and e-mails, but this is the first time it has actually made it to the website. I still want to be in Donald Duck's letterbox - in print...
Is Donald or Mickey more popular in Timbuktu?
Stephen
Donald, most definitely. He's a regular. Not a big spender, but he comes back to the place where he is welcome - and that says a lot.
Nobody knows Mickey in Timbuktu. He never shows his face there.
