Title: Breve (Double Whole) Note
Post by: Carl Mill on 2005-01-10 01:57 AM
I am having trouble inserting breve (double whole) notes in a NWC.  The Boxmark2 fonts put the note either slightly above or below the line or space between the lines.  Does anyone know if the is a remedy for this?

Thanks

With Boxmark2, try using a different font size. If that doesn't work, try my own "MusiSync" font (easily found by web search). When I created "MusiSync" I had alignment with NWC in mind. As I recall, use font size equal to NWC's "staff size."

Merci gaston nous allons bien, et vous?

About the boxmark2, I noticed the problem last week, and will try to find the time to fix it asap.

Thanks Robert, found your fonts and they work perfectly.  I was mistaken when I said Boxmark2.  I couldn't find a breve in Boxmark2.  I did find on in the Bach fonts and that was the one giving me all the trouble.

The breve in Boxmarks 2 works fine if it's the same font size as the staff. It's on the degree sign °  (alt+176), and the longa is  the plus-or-minus, ±, (alt+177).
