Title: getting an auditorium sound easily
Post by: Vince R. on 2004-12-30 04:52 AM
I speak to those with Microsoft XP, there is a way to get an auditorium sound to any sound played by the comp, including midi.  All you have to do is go to your control panel and click on the sound effect manager icon. Then switch the environment from none to auditorium or concert hall or whatever.  I found this out several months ago and thought i share the tip. Some of you may know this, but in case u didnt, there u go.

I clicked on Control Panel but cannot find a Sound Effect manager icon or an environment choice. I have a "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon but this does not offer an Environment choice.

I guess its a device on newer computers.  I guess from 2003 and on perhaps.  But most of my friend's computers have this device. Sorry if i gave u false hope.  It might also have to do with the type of sound card.

It's a sound card thing. Not everyone has it, not even with XP.
