Title: Suggestion:repeat prev bar symbol
Post by: Gene Rutter on 1998-04-18 04:00 AM
I would dearly love to see a "repeat the prev bar (or 2 or 4 bars, etc)
symbol added.( *//. ) or ( */2/. ) if you catch my drift.

Also, the ability to indicate an instrument is to "layout" for
8,16 24 bars, like in show musicals scores would be helpful.

a la: |-------------16-------------------|

Something to think about for the next upgrade.

Thanks

You have to put it on the wish list. Doesn't count if you just tell us. Maybe we need a button here to send it to the wish list. Anyone listening?
The above is called a multi-bar rest. Most of us have put in a vote for this feature.

Where does one make entries into the wish list?

I've only just discovered this website and I'm still fumbling around getting aclimated.

I had always asked for multi-measure rests! When would they
do it? I am making music for print outs to use. I dont want
to have a page of one measure rests! Also, I find that
when importing midi, i get a lot of tied notes, rather than
dotten halves, or quarters. Why is that? Is there a way to
get this done automaticcly rather than going through the
entire piece and changing all the notes? Thanks
