Anyone know if the PHP (installed by the NWC2 user tools) interacts in any way with a full PHP installation, elsewhere in the system? If PHP is already installed (not necessarily to default location), does the user tools installer know that, or doesn't it care?
AFAICT, the PHP installedd with the tool kit is completely standalone. It shouldn't interfere with - say - a PHP service that you have on your computer, nor should the service interfere with the installer (ie, it doesn't care) :-)

Andrew is quite correct. The PHP build installed by the NWC2 User Tool Starter Kit is not connected to anything else in your system other than NWC2. No registry, INI, or other configuration files are changed in your system.
