Title: Playing of MIDI files created with NWC.
Post by: Robert Coppedge on 2004-11-30 06:38 PM
If I create a file with NWC and save it both as an NWC file and also a MIDI file, this is what happens:
For example, if I've used the multi point controller for
something like volume or pan, when I reload the NWC file,
everything works fine.  When I load tne MIDI file, the
volume or pan, for example, does not reproduce.
The MIDI file is correct, because if I input it into Cakewalk Express, for example, it plays fine, with all the controls just as I used them in NWC.

Am I doing something wrong when I import the MIDI file into NWC?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The reason is simple: NWC doesn't import MPC's. All in all, the MIDI import capabilities of NWC are quite limited.
