Title: Can you hear the note while inserting it?
Post by: Spotnick on 2004-10-28 02:17 PM
I'd love to know if it's possible with Noteworthy to actually hear the note when you insert it.

I've used other music notation softwares that worked that way, and I found it quite useful.

I know, I should get a midi keyboard ;)

Hearing the note while entering it is a feature in the new NWC Version 2.  Unfortunately, it is not a feature in the 1.x versions.

But yes - if you use a midi keyboard for entering notes, you will be able to hear them with version 1.75!

Indeed. Hearing while inserting is a "real feature" (involves program code) as opposed to merely having sound turned off. As was noted, it's in version 2, but I don't expect a retrofit to version 1.xx.
