Title: A capella 3 part voices converted to noteworthy
Post by: gr8blox on 2004-08-02 06:51 PM
Can anyone please help. I need to convert a 3-part(SAB)  a cappella voices that are on a CD recording to noteworthy so that I don't have to transcribe each individual part.

There's no shortcut unless you contact the performers who made the CD and ask for a copy of the music.

If you need software to help with the transcription, get Amazing Slowdowner from Roni Music.

If you know the name of the piece, try and find it on the Choral Public Domain Library http://www.cpdl.org - it might be there,

Something that I didn't think of, but if you have a good ear and a midi keyboard, listen to the vocals and play them on the midi keyboard, saving the file to your hard drive.

Import it to NWC, and use the chord splitter program to break the voices into separate staffs.

Find Chord Splitter here
