Hi. I am wondering how to get the bass drums 1-5 used for marching drumlines. any help would be much appreicated.
Don't use the channel 10 bass drums. Use a different channel and set the instrument to Taiko Drum. I usually use the pitches (in bass clef) A below the staff, D below the staff, G bottom line, C 2nd space, and F fourth line. Keep in mind that this may not be satisfactory on your sound card, so you might need to fiddle a bit.
I also prefer Melodic Toms to the channel 10 toms for marching.
