Title: shadows sound
Post by: snooker on 2004-07-21 10:35 AM
Is there any way of achieving a Stratocaster guitar and echo sound ie as Hank Marvin - with Noteworthy.

Thanks

You can't create instrument sounds with NWC. It only uses the sounds defined in your sound card. However, if your card supports Soundfonts, you might be able to find what you need on the internet.
Hammersound (http://www.hammersound.net) is probably the best known and most comprehensive site.

I'm not familiar with the sound. Robin's advice is best. But if that doesn't work for you, you can record your NWC music to an audio (WAV, MP3 file) using external software (see user tip on this subject). Then, the audio file can be manipulated with audio editing software (such as the free Audacity). There are a number of effects possible - some of them may produce the kind of sound you want.

Thanks Robin and Robert.

I'll give your suggestions a whirl.

Thanks again.
