My score was ok until I added a seventh staff and found that whatever instrument
I designated all I got was a car chase!
A variety of instruments were used for the earlier staves without a problem.
Can anyone help please?

What instrument did you select for this staff? What MIDI channel was the staff using?

I tried piccolo, flute strings I see it was channel 10.

Channel 10 is the MIDI drum/percussion channel. Try changing it to another, unused channel.
