Title: Real Piano Sound
Post by: David Kendal on 2004-07-03 12:28 PM
I remember there was a tutorial somewhere on making the piano sound like REAL Piano. Where is this tutorial?

Two possibilities:

(1) You want chords to play so that the notes do not sound exactly simultaneously. Search for "glissando" and "multipoint controller."

(2) You want to use digitized piano sounds different from the ones built into your sound card. Search for "MIDI to WAV," or "sound fonts," or "Timidity," among others.

Or, is your question different?

Hello all. I tried going thru the instructions in article #3489, but it seems that I'm not getting something right, esp. at the MPC section. Can you give me a step-by-step instruction about this? I'm a beginner with NWC, so pardon my naiveness. And thank you very much.
