Title: File can't open
Post by: kboad on 2004-06-29 04:06 pm
I can't open a song I spent a whole day to make.
The error message is "This binary file appears to have been improperly treated as an ASCII file..."  Can anybody help me get it back?  The .BAK file too can't open.

This sounds like a corrupted file. There are a couple of things that you should consider doing:

"E-mail a copy of the file and its *.bak to us"

I E-MAILED BOTH FILES TO THIS ADDRESS: support@noteworthysoftware.com  IS IT OKAY?

Right address, but we haven't received anything from you.

OK, we received both of your messages. Both of the files that you sent are only 12 bytes, so there is no data in the files to actually recover.
