Post by: Eric on 2004-04-10 07:59 PM
How do I insert a non-pitched clef for a percussion part?

It must be inserted as a text item -
at the beginning of every system...

Couldn't you simply insert the clef you want, then undo the effect with another clef, and make that one invisible?

Rob, it sounds like the second of two clefs would then be invisible, which makes for a blank space in place of a clef at the start of every system.

If that line is only going to be used for non-pitched percussion instruments, you don't need a clef at all.

But it's nice to see the percussion clef anyways.
