Title: Lyrics
Post by: Rand0lf on 2004-03-26 03:37 PM
Hi there, can anyone help me? When I open a MIDI File in Noteworthy Player, it displays the lyrics for that track under the notes.
However, when I open the same MIDI file in NWComposer the lyrics are missing! When I try to select and edit the lyrics from the menu it says that there are no lyrics.  Hmmm, please help, I'm stumped.

Thanks all

:D

Composer and Player use identical methods for importing lyrics from a MIDI file. Are you using the latest version of NWC?

Hmm, I am using NWC 1.75b, I think that that is the latest version?

The lyrics should be there. Try turning off layering using View, Allow Layering, then use Page Down to look through every staff that is imported. You should be able to find the staff that has the lyric.

You can also find the lyrics quickly by going to File, Page Setup, Contents, and enabling only the Lyrics group.
