Post by: Led Zeppe-fan on 2004-03-05 10:50 PM
As the subject states, i need to know how do to drums on noteworthy composer.  I made a MIDI of Stairway to Heaven but couldn't find out how to do drums.  That was 1 month ago and I still don't know.  PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME!

Well I'm kinda new at this myself, but being a fellow drummer I had the same question.  You might try opening up a brand new file, and when the window comes up asking you what kind of score to make it, go over to the "Rhythm" tab and you would probably want the "metal4_4" template.  See if you can manipulate it into what you want, then just cut-and-past to your other song.  Like I said, I'm still learning, but I think that might work.  Hope it does.

To use drums, change the staff properties by pressing F2 while the staff is highlighted, and then go to the MIDI tab, and change the channel to channel 10. Then go to the instrument tab and change it to <none>. There is a drumref.nwc file that should have come with your software, and you can enter notes to make the drum sounds. Hope that was a good enough explanation. Thanks,
