every time i try to open NWC on my computer, it decides to close itself after about 8 seconds, regardless of what i am doing, could someone help please!
The only close mechanism built into NWC is via File, Exit (http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/nwchelp/MNU_FILEEXIT.htm), which can be accessed from the File menu, or by using the close options that Windows provides in the the application title bar.
If NWC is closing without you manually requesting it, there are only two possibilities:
- Some other software is closing NWC on its own.
If this is the case, all you can do is check your other software to make sure that none of it would do such a thing.
- NWC is crashing, possibly due to a buggy driver.
Check your systems event logs to see if you can track down any failure events that might cause this.
We have also had one similar report of this by a user. They later reported back that the problem was caused by another software package that they had recently installed on their system. You might check the other applications that you have running and shut them down before running NWC. This might help you to identify the source of the problem.
