I desperately need to know how to label staffs with the instrument that corresponds. Using the text tool I can put the name of the instrument above the staff...but i want it to the left of the staff, before music begins!
Is there anyway to do it?
Yes there is a simple way. Go to File, then Page Setup, then click on the Options tab. Next, go to the box that says staff labels, and set it to show labels on the first system only (to the left of the staff on the first page only), the top systems, or on all systems (on each page).
