Title: Alignment of notes when printing
Post by: Mich Sampson on 2003-12-08 03:27 PM
Hi all - can anyone help on this?

I'm using the latest registered version of NW, and everything is working perfectly except that when I print, the notes are not quite aligned with the stave lines - the notes are all printed slightly too low.

So for example an F note in the treble clef when printed slightly overlaps the E line, and therefore at a glance looks ambiguous. This is also happening with ledger line notes, for example middle C in the treble clef.

I have tried this using 300 and 600 resolution. I've also tried this using a staff size of 11, 12, 13 and 14 pt font. Finally, I tried pasting into Word and printing it from there - but still the same problem.

Is there anything I can do in NW to fix this?

Grateful for any help/advice!

This is probably a rendering problem with your print driver. Check with the manufacturer to see if they have an updated driver for your printer.

Many thanks! Downloaded the latest version of the driver, and all is working now!
