Title: How do I use my own controllers not pre-set in NWC?
Post by: Joel on 2003-12-07 08:21 PM
I have an XG Sound card that comes with alot of controllers, but I'm not sure how to use these controllers in NWC.
Here is a list that shows different controllers available. NWC has pre-selected controllers for use by using "Insert>Multi-point Controller (L)"

I've noticed that in order to use these controllers, a "Voice Message/System Exclusive Message" must be used.
Shown here: http://nwc-scriptorium.org/helpful.html#GMCont
How do write a "Voice Message/System Exclusive Message" in NWC?

Thanks for your time, and if you do know how to do this, please be very descriptive, so that I may understand the instructions clearly.
Thanks again,
-Joel

In NWC, you can only use the controller that it supports. These are shown in the MPC properties. NWC does not currently support System Exclusive messages.

Will this be included in future versions?
If not, you'll lose this customer.
Thanks again.
