Hi Somebody help me to get the alesis serial midi driver
work with windows xp. I have no problem with windows 98

I have noticed that some MIDI Synthesizers like those of Creative's aswell as some softsynths don't work in Windows XP. I can't use my SoundBlaster PCI 128 synthesizer at all under winXP for some strange reason...

This doesn't answer your question I know... But winXP doesn't seem to work with some older midi drivers and software.

please tell me is it posible to send sysex files to my x5d via midi cables(5) (in&out)?I tried to conect via "to host pc"cable but the driver is not working with my winxp profesional...

KORG IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH "TO HOST"

MIDI= 31250 bauds ( korg, roland, etc ...)

TO HOST = 38400 bauds (system Yamaha )

You must have an adapters for your XD5
