How do I assign a certain instrument to a selected staff in the playback function?Any help would be appreciated.Thanx
Two ways.
1)On menu bar , select insert=>Instrument Patch which should bring up a list of instruments. This will place the editable/alterable patch item somewhere on the staff (you can adjust the position).
[right click on staff=>Midi Control=>Instrument Patch will do same]
2)Right click on staff, and select Staff Properties. Dialog will have an instrument tab to select the instrument.
(likewise, this option has other access modes. Click on staff, and use Staff from menu bar, or press f2)
