Title: percussion envelope problem . . . i think
Post by: ydnandrew on 2003-05-06 03:11 PM
I have recently been experimenting with soundfonts on my AWE32, along with updating drivers, and a little bit of experimenting with multipoint controllers within NWC.  My problem is that now my percussion tracks all sustain (or rapidly repeat) notes with no decay.  Claps sound like machine guns.  Cymbal crashes sound almost like static.  Does anyone have an idea of what might have gone wrong, and how to fix it?  My soundbank is reset to the synthgm default for the AWE32.  Is there some way to reset all controls to get this thing to play my percussion correctly?

Try Refresh/Apply from the AWE Manager.
Or ReStart your system.

Send me a file at btgraham(at)tpg(dot)com(dot)au
Perhaps it needs a Controller Reset.
