Title: Screen wrap
Post by: Wes Christensen on 2003-04-05 02:29 AM
It appears from some old messages (1998) that NWC has only the horizontal screen display mode. I write only piano music so I have only 2 staves. It would sure be a lot more convenient to have several lines visible at a time on the screen. Perhaps, like a work processor, to be able to work with it in "page" mode (not print preview).

I understand that some folks do not want this, but it could always be an option.

For me, it's a fairly serious limitation.

Any plans to add this capability?

I don't work for NWC, but from time to time I see that others request page-mode editing. If it's in NWC's plans, we won't know until it happens. Meanwhile, you'll have to use print preview to see what's going on.

Page mode editing would be great if possible.
But instead of it, changing windows between an editing window and a print preview window by using 'Window' menu would be very helpful.
Currently I have to click 'Print preview' every time I need to check the page layout. And this resets the preview image to the first page and zoom out most.
