Title: Songs need intros
Post by: Karst on 2003-03-08 03:15 AM
Greetings:
does anyone know how to put in the beginning of a song and "intro?" By that I mean a small piece of the song that plays once and doesn't repeat when the song loops in MIDI form. Using RPG Maker 2000 (perhaps some of you know of it) to make a video game requires that technique to, for instance, enter battle with a short accented phrase leading into the real song, which isn't repeated again.
Any ideas?

In NWC, you do this quite easily with repeats and/or flow direction instructions. The repeat*.nwc files in the Samples folder gives examples of what you can do.
