Title: Converting .SNG files to .NWC files
Post by: Rob den Heijer on 2002-12-27 10:29 AM
I have quite a few .sng files (the native format of ME Studio Light) that I would like to convert to .NWC files.
Since I bought NoteWorthy Composer 1.75, I like to use that program for my music only.
When converting, with MIDI as an in-between step, a lot of information gets lost, and accidentals get changed around, meaning a lot of work.
Is there a more direct conversion method available?

NWC will import MIDI files. This is the only way to bring in files from other software.

OK, I have imported MIDI-files often enough, and that works relatively well.
I guess that the 'touching up' bit remains as it is.
Sometimes it is a lot of work, but so long as the result (a .NWC file with everything!) is there...
