Title: NoteWorthy Composer vs MIDIs
Post by: Matthew Collinson on 2002-12-15 08:52 PM
When ever I open/load MIDIs (*.mid), the events (volume change, pitch bend, stereo pan) do not take place.
The NoteWorthy Composer I have is an Evaluation and I downloaded it. Is this the reason of the events taking place? Do I need the Registered version in order of the events taking place?

The behaviour is same in the registered version.

When you import MIDI events into NWC, the note pitches and durations are the basis for most of the notation that is created in the process. In NWC, dynamics are controlled via Dynamic instructions and articulations that you add to notes. These are not currently added during the MIDI import process.

Ooooh!  Does this imply that they soon will be?

The statement is not meant to imply anything other than that is the way NWC currently works.
