Title: Beaming
Post by: Earl on 2002-12-15 04:02 PM
How do I beam three eighth notes, with a double beam for the last two eighth notes?  Thank you Earl

I'm having difficulty understanding what you mean by double beam. Are you trying to beam an eighth and two sixteenths? If so, select the notes and press Ctrl+B.

"...........select the notes and press Ctrl+B."....
I think you mean Ctrl+A; Ctrl+B (re-)organises the barlines, not the beaming.(Özür dilerim)

Strange keyboard you have! Control+B does indeed beam notes, whilst Control+A adds another staff!

Graham,

I've just checked and it's Ctrl + B ;)

Yes, sorry, I was thinking of another shortcut (alt+T+a)(automatic beaming)
