Title: my file will not open
Post by: Auren Kaplan on 2002-12-05 04:30 PM
When i try to open my file Trombone Quartet.nwc, a sign pops us saying that This file has failed to open.  it either does not exist or may be corrupted.  I know it exists, so if it is corrupted, i need to be able to restore it.  Thanks for your help.

First, try re-starting your computer. The problem you described is not necessarily caused by a problem with the file or the program.

If your file was downloaded from elsewhere, the download itself might have been corrupted. Try re-downloading.

There is not much we can do without seeing the file. Send it to support and then we can let you know if it is truly corrupted. If it is corrupted, it could very well be totally lost (keeping backups is very important).

If you move it to a different folder and then try to open through File|History, you will get this message also.

Pleasure to be of service.
Have you changed your name since yesterday?
