Title: How to I change the active staff?
Post by: Walter Wadavich on 2002-11-15 12:53 AM
I am editing some music that has more that 1 staff
overlayed and I can't get the active staff to
be RIgh Hand 2. It doesn't seem to matter where I put the
mouse either. Is the a way to change the active staff
by keys.  This may be covered somewhere but I looked
in help, FAQ and this forum and couldn't find anything.

Just look at the quick key guide.
PgUp and PgDown.
Honestly....

If staffs are overlayed don't you have to separate them to activate the second staff?
I've tried to edit files with overlayed staffs and you can see notes in your active color and notes that are black for the other staff and I haven't been able to edit the second staff without seperating them.
Just wondering.

Have fun - The Hankster

Try Page Up/Down. It is easier to separate them though.

Stop using the mouse!
This program is AWESOME without it.
As was mentioned in replies 1 and 4, just use Page Up/Down.
And no need to separate the staves.
