I have NWC v1.70.9 but there is a weird problem where it doesn't show any of the notes/clefs etc. but still plays them. I can't even see the cursor!
Two things:
(1) Within the past year or so, a number of users have reported display problems. In each case, the problem was cause by the computer's video display driver being somewhat incompatible with the operating system (have you upgraded to XP ?). The solution was to either (a) update the video display driver, or (b) if no update is available, go to the video control panel properties, and reduce hardware acceleration.
I should point out that the above is not unique to NWC. It's a system thing.
(2) NWC is now in a version much more recent than the one you have. So, if the problem is caused by a corrupted installation, you might as well download and install version 1.75.whatever.
A restart usually clears problems like this up with no further action.
Hm... just looked at the version number, and the poster's pseudo. Wonder if there's a bad crack floating around? Either way, seems like Black has a lot of gall asking for support...
