does anyone know how to make NW execute a "hard return" immediately
after a measure? The problem I'm trying to avoid is having a new line of
music begin in the middle of a measure.
I would like also to avoid the single long score line and get to
a WYSIWYG format. any help?
NWC works in a "long-scroll" format for editing (it doesn't have any other views - except page preview in the print dialog), but will set out the page with "line-breaks" at the end of a bar ("justifying" the "text" to give a smooth right edge). You can see what this will look like by pressing the Preview button in the Print dialog.
