Title: Saving files somewhere other than Samples directory
Post by: Chris Hardin on 2002-08-31 02:33 PM
I've been using NoteWorthy Composer for a while and I think it's a fantastic program.  I'm using release 1.75.

Whenever I save a file, NWC always wants to put the file in the Samples directory.  How can I get NWC to remember that I want to save files in another directory such as My Music?

Greetings Chris;

It's not too hard to do, while you have NWC Composer open, click on the 'tools' menu, the go to the bottom of the menu and click on 'options', when this window opens, click on the 'folders' tab, highlight 'songfiles' then click on 'modify' and enter where you want your songs stored.

Close everything and have fun.

The Hankster

moreover, you can change the location where you want to save your file at the "save as" time. Just use the usual windows procedure (this "save as" window is a standard).

OK, Now how does one make their own folder show up first, instead of samples, when opening NWC?

Merci, Marsu, sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees.
