Title: OCR
Post by: Pierre on 2002-08-02 02:50 AM
Is there an OCR software that works perfectly with NWC.  I have SharpEye, but I find I have many enharmonic changes.  For example, notation changes from say and F sharp to a G flat.  Very cumbersome and time consuming to put in proper form.  Thanks.

The closest you'll get is to enter the data yourself. And even then, perfection is only approximate.

Mechanical (computer) OCR has a long ways to go, especially with musical scores, where there is a considerable variety of "style" and general legibility.

If your only problem with OCR is enharmonic changes, then consider yourself lucky!
