Title: More on blues triplets
Post by: hsb on 2002-06-07 11:32 PM
Okay see https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=2388.msg13193#msg13193; Marsu,I got it about the staff with 0 lines as you suggested.  That works, but I can't figure out how to get the rests (that fill out the staff so it prints properly) to be invisible.  Is that possible?  Or can I make some sort of template for this?  I use swing eighths often in my work.

If I understand correctly, you wish to make your rests invisible. That's possible.

To make any object or group of objects invisible, select (highlight) it; open its properties dialogue in one of the following ways:

then go to the Visibility tab and set Show on printed page property to Never from the dropdown box.

Click OK or press Enter. It's done.

Thanks Ertugrul for this answer.

HSB, about templates, you may know that under the NWC directory(folder), there is a folder named "Template" which typically contains four files and two other folders ("Custom" and "Rhythm"). You can put some of your own files there, and then use them as templates.
Quote of nwctips.tip: You can create your own song templates. Simply save a file into the Template folder in the application directory and the file will automatically be recognized as a new template.
You can create other folders in the Template folder. See https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=2362 if you want to add shortcuts to them within NWC.

HTH!
