Title: Removing breath marks?
Post by: Eric Hahn on 2002-06-01 10:54 PM
How can you remove a breath mark, text, fermata, or other symbols short of deleting the note or chord and re-entering it?

Just before the note/chord that the text/fermata etc precedes is a small grey (almost invisible) marker, which holds the necessary information about the insert.

Highlight this marker with your mouse and it will not include the note/chord - you can either delete it, or right click and see/change the properties - you wont have to re-enter anything.

Or leave this imprecise mouse alone and use the keyboard instead!!
Each pression on left or right key moves the cursor to the next object.
Using the Ctrl key simultaneously moves you to the next bar line.
This is the most precise way to select objects on the screen, and not only within NWC!
