Title: fast tracker
Post by: Martijn on 2002-02-12 05:00 AM
I use fast tracker and I want to change some .xm-files into wav so I can burn it at a cd.
How can I change those files?
Where can I download a program to do it?

Greetings

Martijn

My recommendation is the same as any other source; learn how to record a wav file using your sound card. I use CoolEdit, but there are quite a few other wav recorders available. Get familiar with your mixer program (aka "Volume Control"), and you're off to the races.

There /are/ times when it's useful to "convert" (or more precisely, "render") midi files to wav, and there's a possibility that "Mod Plug Tracker" can do something similar, but if you want a "what you hear is what you get" solution, direct recording would probably be the easiest and most direct way of getting it.
