Title: Transposing Imported Midi Files
Post by: Douglas Carter on 2002-01-29 05:00 AM
I have been a Noteworthy user now for a few years, and am always glad to see at least trhree updates to the program per year. Howevr I seemed to have lost something in the las update when it comes to transposing midi files. I alo use Musictime Deluxe and when I want to place files on the web I use Noteworthy. Therefore I make a midi file of the MT file and open it in Noteworthy. What I find is , say a file in Eb comes in with the notes sharpen insead of flattened, and I ca no long correct it. HELP!!

Go to Tools, Transpose... When you click there, you'll get a little popup menu which allows you to set key signature preferences at the bottom. That should work for accidentals too, I think (but I haven't tried).
