Title: Noteworthy vs Encore4.5?
Post by: Maximus on 2002-01-09 05:00 AM
I have been using Encore for composing primarily because I like the ability to link, via midi, with Audio Compositor and play orchestral soundfonts in real-time.

Does anyone know if Noteworthy Composer can do the same?

Yes, NoteWorthy Composer's output can be sent to any available midi device, either via the midi mapper or directly.

If you are wondering if NWC does "live" loading of soundfonts into soundcards, the answer is no. However, any soundcard that supports soundfonts and has a midi driver will be able to work with NWC, it's just that you'll have to load the soundfonts by hand.
