Title: Music of the Spheres ???
Post by: Robert A. on 2001-08-30 04:00 AM
This is a true story. I just have to share it on the forum:

I do not compose music (not a trained musician). But this morning, I thought I'd like to try my hand at setting some established music (say, a nineteenth-century hymn) to a more complex composition.

When I was reading the morning newspaper, I came across my horoscope. It reads:

"If you're hoping to achieve a noteworthy success today, you're going to have to earn it through effort and application. Thinking big does not yield proportionate results."

Wierd story, Robert. You'd better get to work. You apparently don't have a choice anymore.

I would encourage you to remember what all wisemen say; "Study to show thyself approved." Your fate is not written in stone, but ignorance can be just as burdensome.
