Title: Help! Centering rest, etc.
Post by: Patti on 2001-03-14 05:00 AM
Hi!

Could someone tell me how to get my whole rest to be centered in the measure. I just began using NWC again today after a long (several years!) break and I can't remember how I did this.

Also, is there any way to do this:

I want to combine rhythms in the treble - I want to have (in a 4/4 measure) 2 half notes in the high treble with this rhythm under it (still in the treble) - eighth rest, quarter rest, eighth note, quarter rest, quarter rest. Can this be done?

Thanks!

Patti

Whole rests are cenetered automatically when printing.

Your rhythms can be done, both with split stem chords (using stem direction), or with staff layering.
