I keep hearing about this MWA format. Is it really all it's cracked up to be? I have all my MP3's at 128 kps. Is there a program to convert these to this MWA format? Thanks.

Well - If I wanted to record a song directly from Noteworthy Composer to WMA I might do this:-
1. Use MusicMatch Jukebox - the freely downloadable version.
2. Set the recording source to System Mixer.
3. Set the output to Windows Media 128kbps
4. Open NWC and load my score file.
5. Press record in MusicMatch.
6. Press Play in NWC.
You can play NWC files, midi, mp3 or wav in Musicmatch and record as mp3, wav or WMA.

I highly recommend db PowerAmp Music Converter for any kind of format exchange including wav/mp3 to wma, except for vqf. It's freely downloadable at http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
Note that you'll need to download several plug-ins individually.
The use is as easy as NWC! You just right-click on the requested file(s) and click "convert to...". Then a pop-up menu appears including the recently supported formats (subject to which plug-ins you have installed). Then you follow the wizard.
It supports both Blade and Lame mp3 encoders, the latter of which is my preference because of variable bitrate option.
