Title: Teepee accents
Post by: Daner on 2001-03-09 05:00 AM
How can I get a teepee (sp?) accent on a note? Yes, I know that the same effect can be gotten in an MIDI by just putting an accent and a staccato on a note, but for visual purposes, I would like to know how to put a teepee sign above a note. If there is no way, then this should definitely be a feature in future NWC versions because teepee accents are so basic and essential musically and should be included in the program.

Insert text before the note, using the caret symbol (shift 6), preserve width off, alignment "at next note/bar", justification centre. The "Staff Bold" font is a good choice for this.
