Title: sb16 and soundfont
Post by: spoonman on 2000-12-28 05:00 AM
Hey all,
I (still) have a Sound Blaster 16!! Just the other day I found out I could play midis through the Quick Time movie player. Quick time used a soundfont that works with the SB16 and I was wondering if its possible to use it in Noteworthy Composer instead of the standard midi sounds that are no good.

Thanks

NWC can play any MIDI device that includes standard Windows MIDI drivers. As far as I know, QuickTime does not provide a standard Window's driver to access its capabilities. You probably have to save as a MIDI file, then play it in QuickTime to get its benefits.
