Title: Change in articulation marks?
Post by: Grant on 2000-11-16 05:00 AM
I recently upgraded to version 1.70 service pack 2 and I'm now seeing what I think is a change in behavior.

In previous versions, I'm almost certain it was possible to put both a staccato dot and a tenuto mark on the same note. (This is common notation for a separation that is not as marked as with a staccato dot alone.) It now appears that this can't be done.

Am I right that this was previously possible? What are the chances of enabling (or, if my memory is correct, re-enabling) this notation?

Staccato and tenuto marks are mutually exclusive in NWC. This behaviour is unchanged in version 1.70.

Hmmmm. If you say so. I'm off to the wish list then.
