To transpose a drum roll with noteworthy?

Transpose a drum roll? you mean to another pitch. Or to a tom-tom? In any case, drums are an instrument you cannot really transpose unless you physically have 20 or so toms! So I assume that you mean one of the two above...

What exactly do you wanna do?

All I want to do is add a "-" to the stem of a note, indicating a drum roll. that or a "z"

Aha! Yes, it's easy to put a "-" on the note stem. Simply put it in as a text item with preserve width off, alignment "at next note/bar". Justification depends on whether it's stem up or stem down; if stem up, enter "(space)-" and set justify = left. If stem down enter "-(space)" and set justify = right.

There are actually better tremolo symbols available in the "Boxmarks" or other fonts, available at the Scriptorium.
