Title: The NWC History list
Post by: John Marchington on 2000-06-10 04:00 AM
How does the History list know where to find its contents and is it possible to edit the filepaths relating to those entries?
I manually deleted an obsolete folder that my own NWC files were part of, forgetting that the History would no longer be able to access my files. (The files themselves are fine).
I can re-enter all the names but it would be easier simply to change the filepaths in the History to their current ones.
I've checked the registry but they're not there.
Thank you in advance.

If you must, you can edit the NWC.INI file, which in version 1.55b will be in your Windows folder. In version 1.70, the file will be in the same folder as the program, unless the file is marked "Read-only", in which case it will be in the Windows folder as well.

Thank you for your response. Not surprisingly, it worked a treat. Perhaps there have been others who have wondered about it too.
